Our story began like a fairy tale—a match in Heaven, but soon, challenges in Fort Worth turned our union into a struggle, which I called our personal Egypt. Years of turmoil followed, marked by excessive habits of drinking, smoking, and infidelity until a divine relocation to Atlanta brought us to a place of redemption in a nurturing church community. It was in this church community that God saved our marriage and saved our lives.  

After freedom from the excessive habits of drinking, smoking, and infidelity, we were in the church faithfully. As we committed ourselves to spiritual growth, we were saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. The church emphasized its perspective of the marriage bed, and we adopted that perspective. Meanwhile, we were still left sexually frustrated and unfulfilled. Our marriage was saved, but our sex life was lost. The Lord showed us that our marriage bed was like a coffin: cold and dead. Recognizing our need for healing, we embarked on a journey that changed everything. Through our attendance at a transformative sexual healing conference and the application of biblical and practical wisdom received, we resurrected the passion in our marriage bed from cold and lifeless to warm and thriving.
